WORSHIP……LOVE……SERVE

What are your services like?

Our services involve the singing of Christian songs and hymns (which are projected onto the front of the church), the reading of the bible, prayer and a sermon preached by one of our two pastors.

how long are our services?

Typically our services last around an hour, with tea and coffee (and cakes/biscuits!) served afterwards with an informal time following the services where people are welcome to stay and catch up with friends and family.

what is your style of worship?

Our congregation is of all ages, and is very family orientated.  We have a relaxed worship style incorporating both traditional hymns and modern christian songs.  We sing from Mission Praise and have our own supplemental songbook including songs from such artists as Hillsong, the Getty’s, Matt Maher to name just a few.

WHat should I wear?

Gone are the days are feeling pressured to wear a suit and tie to come to church.  People are welcome to wear whatever clothes they like, so long as they are modest and comfortable.   Some people wear a suit, some wear jeans and a shirt, we are an open and welcoming church and although we believe meeting in the Lord’s house should be done with respect and thoughtfulness, we also believe it’s far more important to be “clothed with humility” 1 Peter 5:5.

Is childcare available?

Yes :).  We have a creche for very little ones which is located in a side room off the main church building.  We also have an active and growing children’s work which takes place during the main service.  Children are welcome to stay in during the main service, but have the option to go out to Bubbles, Splash, Xtreme and Bible Class respectively where they will learn about what the bible teaches, and where they will sing and do all kinds of craft activities, all in the safe environment of DBS checked children’s leaders.
