*** Church covid update ***
As from this weekend, we are making it optional to worship wearing a mask during the service, and it is now down to personal choice. We would ask however that you do the following:-
Those who wish NOT to wear a mask, please FILL UP FROM THE FRONT.
Those who wish to continue wearing a mask, PLEASE FILL UP FROM THE BACK.
This will enable those who want to go mask free to sing without feeling they are making someone masked feel uneasy, and allow those who wish to wear a mask feel a little safer as they will be behind those singing and projecting their voices unmasked (hope that makes sense!).
We would also ask that all those attending the service continue to wear a mask on entry and exit of the building and when moving around the building, so as you make your way to your seats and as you leave the building please wear a mask as you do this.
Could we also please ask you to continue to engage in conversation after the service outside for the time being.
Also, some more good news! As from now you no longer need to book yourself into any service or bible study. So just turn up! Hurrah! So glad to get rid of that booking system
We appreciate that there are different opinions when it comes to mask wearing, and we hope by sort of having mask wearing and non masking areas, that this aides you in attending without unnecessary anxiety. As always please consider others and respect their decision either way, for many this will feel like liberation, for others it will be a challenging change.
Please continue to use the hand sanitizer on entering and leaving the building, and rest assured we will still be opening windows to allow for ventilation throughout the services.
Can I say, there is no pressure either way, and if you decide you want to continue to wear a face mask moving forwards for the whole service and to the bible study, that’s absolutely fine. We really do want people to feel comfortable and free to worship without worrying.
Thank you for your loving demonstration of Christian love over the past few weeks. I know many wanted dearly to go straight to being mask-free when the legal requirement was removed, but out of consideration for others masked up. What a wonderful demonstration of our love for one another and our love for Christ. May the Lord continue to help us and protect us as we slowly but surely move forward for His glory, and may He guide us as a fellowship as we seek to serve Him and make His glory known.
God bless you and your families, see you Sunday
